TRS Trophy 2027 is built around a simple principle: virtual racing should be able to create a genuine route into real motorsport.
Drivers compete internationally on iRacing in identical Toyota GR86 machinery. The strongest performers are rewarded not only with a championship result, but with real Caterham track time — and for the champion, a real race.

The TRS Trophy uses the Toyota GR86 on iRacing with a fixed setup. Every driver races the same technical package, putting the emphasis on preparation, racecraft and consistency rather than setup development.

Each round follows the same compact structure. Qualifying sets Race 1. Race 2 reverses the provisional Top 10 from Race 1, while P11 onward remains in finishing order.

Registration does not guarantee a championship seat. Eligible drivers enter the official Pre-Qualifying process for €29.80.
P1–P40 qualify for the championship. P41–P50 become the official reserve list. If those drivers are unavailable, the classification continues in Pre-Qualifying order.

The Top 3 receive real Caterham track time. Travel and accommodation required for the prize programme are covered by TRS. The champion receives 2 dedicated Caterham training sessions, followed by 2 free-practice sessions, qualifying and the opening round of the Caterham Motorsport Iberia season at Portimão in March.
